Popular architecture faces the different climates  with few economic means and simple strategies, however providing the best suitable conditions  to obtain comfort, the more extreme is the climate, the more limited  the solutions will beIt preserves materials and regional constructive systems transmitted through generations; it answers to the conditions of its context and takes advantage of the natural resources available to maximize the quality and the comfort of the people without the intervention of technical personnel or specialists. The aim is to generate microclimates inside the buildings to obtain certain degree of thermal comfort thus minimizing the conditions of extreme climates.
